TRIBUTE TO RESCUERS

I never knew what toys were for ....until you came along
I never knew what family was ........until you brought me to my mom
I didn't know security, didn't know when I'd eat again
I didn't know so much, until you rescued me, my friend
I sleep in a soft bed, every night, my mom right next to me
She takes me for so many walks with so many things to see
I have two friends right here with me, I never feel alone
I'm clean, I'm brushed, I'm hugged, I'm loved, in my forever home.
I know the job you do gets very hard at times
And when you can't help all of us, it seems like such a crime
But when you tend to be feeling down, and the road, it seems so long
Just remember, I never knew what love was like ....until you came along.

Pets Are Us Rescue

Who we are: Pets Are Us Rescue was established in 1996. It all started when the owner's saw how badly the animals were treated in this area of Texas. It was not due to lack of supply but lack of understanding these beautiful animals. The owner got a degree in herpetology and zoology so as to help all the animals in need. Per supply and demand they became the snake handlers for Harris County and other areas. All the services that were offered were free. Slowly more volunteers contacted us and we branched out throughout the U.S. We have branched out in many areas and offer a wide range of services.
What we do: Dedicated to the health and well being of reptiles, small animals, exotics & and other unwanted, dropped off or turned in animals.
