About our Pet loving family |

Ever since I can remember we have had pets in our home. Parrots, Cats, Dogs, Fish and even Chinchillas. Many of them were rescued from Mill Breeders, from Abuse and then there were those that simply walked into our home, saying: "Hey human, I need a new home and "yours is it". Some were the result of "just stopping in at the pet store to see what there is to see." Not that I have complained. Our home has always been very accommodating even if it is only a temporary stop over till a happy home is found. |

Who are 'We' you ask?
Well that's also simple .. We are Veronica and Santana, a mom and daughter team working together to help make this a great success. I have two wonderful daughters one married and one living at home. My eldest daughter is, I am proud to say, as much of a pet lover as I am. Tam recently increased her pet family by a brother for Jessie and the two of them get treated just like children. They recently moved to Colorado where they now live in the mountains with enough space for the two to play.
As for us, well, Santana is soon to be 16. We are a home schooling family and this makes it easier for us to work on our projects together. Sometimes when I am running late I even get to test out her great cooking skills while she cooks her mom a wonderful meal, yep I'm really lucky. As for my husband, well I guess every business needs a "silent partner" who is not very silent when I am constantly buying fabrics:) The dogs however LOVE him and think of him more as a playing partner in this whole setup. Ever since I first had my children I would buy them pets. Through the years there were tons of different types and breeds. But it was always a responsibility that the kids did not want. I would spend hours telling them to walk, feed or water and they would be upset and I would be upset. Until one day it struck me how unfair it was for me to give someone something that they did not want in the first place. I realized that what I was doing was in fact giving them the responsibility of having something they were not asking for, giving them really what I wanted. I stopped buying my kids pets. I now get myself pets. I refuse to buy from stores that promote commercial breeding. I look for and find those who were purchased or were used for that breeding and rather bring them into my home. They need me and I need them. I need them because it is rewarding for me. If this sounds selfish that's ok with me.
It's funny that I am stitching now. Years and years ago I used to have so much fun making costumes for Tams as well as my nieces school plays. Once I even made a wedding dress and dresses for the flower girls, all spur of the moment. I loved it, but never thought I would want to do it all the time. Ironically it has now come down to a basic fact for me... If you finally find out what you love you will love doing it. For me it's quite simple - I really love my pets. I love helping any animal. And I love to stitch... I guess I am a lucky person, being able to do the two things I enjoy the most together does not happen to all of us very often. You see since bringing Sheila, Noodle and Suki into my life and coming face to face with hardcore rescue I have come to realize that I have never had so much fun as I do now. I am not saying that it's all that humorous working with those animals who are in need, I am however saying that it is rewarding and in reward there is fun.
It was with my "velcro" pup, Noodle's first Christmas that really made me see the light in where my future lay. You see Santana has this habit of always dressing the dogs and cats up. Sometimes they really fight with her but she is very persistent and the end result is sometimes really funny but other time it really makes sense. The day that Santana was doing our Christmas Tree she stripped off one of the bears who normally sit at the foot of our Christmas tree and dressed little Noodle up in the bears Christmas outfit. Noodle got so bored with being dressed up that she eventually just fell asleep and she just about killed this heart of mine she was just that cute.
I was sitting there playing with different ideas of little outfits I could make for her. Then the idea grew because the more research I did for ideas, the more I realized that just about every place I looked I saw exactly the same clothing being sold by just about everyone. I made a decision to start my own "range" of products for my kids and others who love their little babies as much as I do. This then was the birth of Every Pets Dream. You see I have a dream (heard that one before?) well my dream is to one day buy a ranch where I can bring lots and lots of neglected animals and with the right help and right environment bring them back to life again. To do that I have a lot of hard work ahead of me and that means bringing together the two things I love most. My pets and my stitching. Of course there is your pets that play a factor here as well. A lot of rambling I know, but I did want you to know I have a very special reason for doing this. If I can help you find exactly what you are looking for the feeling will be mutual. I look forward to stitching for you. Pet FostersSince my dream is long term, I have a short term action plan...
Over the months we had been fostering for a national rescue. I know how difficult it is for some of them to survive. The cost of vetting and medical requirements can kill off just about anyone's dreams of saving an animal. Because of this a percentage of each and every purchase that gets made from Every Pets Dream. com is donated to various rescue organizations, since many of them are not Government funded and are struggling to stay afloat. If there is a rescue you would prefer the money to be donated to please provide us with the name of the person to contact and the organization name and number and we will gladly contact them to forward your donation. We will also attach them to the list of organizations to allow others to choose from when they make a purchase. Please know that if you do not select an organization, we will be donating a portion of the income to organizations of our own choice. We will forward your name to the organization so that they know the donation came from you, unless you prefer we don't let them know, by requesting this in our check out.
We are constantly updating and adding new things that have been requested as well as items that we have found useful ourselves. We try to use as many of the items we sell as we can. That way we can learn the advantages and disadvantages of using one product vs. another. A lot of items simply don't make it into our catalog because we don't think they are good enough. We look forward to hearing from you and helping with any questions and requests. Our promise to you...
We realize that true guarantees are few and far between so we would like to step out and assure you that if you ever buy anything from us and are disappointed or dissatisfied... for any reason... just return the merchandise to us, unworn and unused, within two weeks and we'll promptly replace it or refund your purchase price. Your choice is yours.
If you are a Rescue and do not see your Organization listed on our web site for donations, please email us off the Contact Us pages and we will gladly add you to our list of organizations willing to receive donations. If at any time you feel you would like to contribute to our web site by sending in an article, a photo, a short story about you, your family and your pet, just visit our Contact Us page and email us. We love hearing about the wonderful little furry babies out there. Thank you for stopping in and we hope your visit will be a pleasant one. If you are looking for a companion please think of adopting instead of buying a puppy.
Veronica & Santana Cat - who we were lucky enough to know for just a few months, but love and miss sorely.
